I graduated from Bologna Veterinary University in Italy in 2009. After spending some time in first opinion practice in Italy, I moved to the United Kingdom in 2011. I undertook a small animal anaesthesia internship and subsequently a European and American Veterinary Anaesthesia and Analgesia residency at the University of Liverpool. I then worked in referral practices in the West Midlands and Hampshire before joining North Downs Specialist Referrals, in Surrey, UK. I passed the American Diploma boards in 2017. I became a Recover BLS and ALS trainer in 2022. My interests include peri-operative fluid therapy, chronic pain and critical care. My passion for well-being and non-technical skills led me to become a mental health first aider in 2021.
