Marjolein van Heerden is Scientific Director Pathology at Janssen R&D, Belgium. She studied Veterinary Medicine and performed her Pathology Residency at Ghent University and was E.C.V.P. Board certified in 2006. In 2006 she joined Janssen pathology group where she contributed end to end to the successful development of drugs; she has a special interest in discovery pathology (mainly oncology and infectious diseases), long acting injectables, mass spectrometry imaging, minipigs and the GI-tract.
