The primary objectives of the European College of Veterinary Public Health (ECVPH) are to:
- Advance veterinary public health, including subspecialties of population medicine and food science in Europe, while enhancing the expertise of practitioners.
- Establish guidelines for specialization in veterinary public health.
- Qualify veterinarians as EBVS® European Veterinary Specialists in Public Health to serve diverse livestock populations and their owners, ensuring elevated service quality for the public.
- Promote research, knowledge, and communication in the veterinary public health domain.
