After receiving his degree in veterinary medicine from the University of Ghent (Belgium) in 2016, Han Opsomer started his career as a general practioner, working first in Belgium and then in England. In 2019, he was accepted for a residency in veterinary and comparitive nutrition (with a focus on companion animals) at the University of Zurich (Switzerland). After successfully completing his clinical specialisation, he focused more on research by starting a doctoral thesis at the same University. Currently, Han combines both scientific and clinical work by cooperating to studies and providing lectures, workshops and consultation services.
