After receiving his degree in veterinary medicine from the University of Ghent (Belgium) in 2016, Han Opsomer started his career as a general practioner, working first in Belgium and then in England. In 2019, he was accepted for a residency in veterinary and comparitive nutrition (with a focus on companion animals) at the University of Zurich (Switzerland). After successfully completing his clinical specialisation, he completed his doctoral thesis at the same University. Currently, Han combines both scientific and clinical work by cooperating to studies and providing lectures, workshops and consultation services.
