After receving my degree in Veterinary Medicine from the University of Torino (Italy), in 2013, I completed a residency program in Avian Medicine and Diagnostics at the Univeristy of California (Davis) working at the Turlock branch of the California Animal Healthy and Food Safetery Laboratory System (CAHFS), in 2018. I moved to France in 2019, where I started working as an avian diagnostician, while pursuing a PhD (National Veterinary School of Toulouse). Since 2022 I am a diplomate of the American College of Poultry Veterinarians. I am particurlarly interested in histopathology, parasithology and the study of emerging and re-emerging avian pathogens
