Alain Fontbonne is Full-Professor in Small Animal Reproduction in the Alfort national veterinary college (Paris-France). He has also been former President of the European Veterinary Society for Small Animal Reproduction (EVSSAR) and elected as an Honorary Member of this European society. In France, he has founded two university clinical centers specialised in dog and cat reproduction, in Lyon and in Alfort. He is also Vice-President of a French NGO involved in assisted reproduction in wild felids. He has been the college supervisor of 8 residents who all succesfully passed the ECAR examination.
