I am a veterinarian and senior lecturer in ruminant medicine at the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences (SLU), with a PhD in veterinary medicine and board certification as a European Specialist in Animal Reproduction (Dipl. ECAR), focusing on ruminant reproduction and herd health.My work sits at the intersection of clinical practice, research, and education. I am actively involved in teaching and supervision at undergraduate, postgraduate, doctoral, and residency level, with a strong emphasis on reproduction, obstetrics, and herd fertility management grounded in real clinical cases.My research focuses on reproductive biology, the reproductive microbiome, and antimicrobial resistance, with the goal of developing practical, field-based solutions that support sustainable livestock production.I collaborate widely in national and international projects, including EU-funded initiatives, and value close cooperation with farmers, veterinarians, and industry to ensure that research translates into practice.
