Marco Fantinati graduated from the Veterinary University of Bologna (Italy). He started his career as general practitioner, did a rotating internship and specialist internship in ophthalmology before taking the educational path to becoming a Veterinary Nutritionist. After a 3-year residency at the National Veterinary University of Toulouse (France) he became a diplomate of the European College of Veterinary and Comparative Nutrition undergoing advanced clinical and research training in the field of animal nutrition with particular focus on dogs and cats. After a few years in the pet food industry, he is now Global Research & Development Manager of Farmina Pet Foods, where he supervises global research projects and lectures as speaker in international congresses.
