Dr. Thibault Frippiat is an equine veterinarian based at the Sporthorse Medical Diagnostic Centre (SMDC) in the Netherlands. He is a Diplomate of the European College of Veterinary Sports Medicine and Rehabilitation (ECVSMR) and defended his PhD in Veterinary Sciences at the University of Liège (Belgium), with a focus on advancing the diagnostics and treatment of subclinical respiratory disorders in sport horses. His field of interest in both clinical and research work is non-orthopedic equine sports medicine, with a focus on the respiratory, cardiovascular, and gastrointestinal systems, and exercise physiology. He is President of the Equine Section of KNMvD (Royal Dutch Veterinary Association) and a Board Member of the Dutch Equine Sector Council.
