Dr. Thibault Frippiat is an equine veterinarian based at the Sporthorse Medical Diagnostic Centre (SMDC) in the Netherlands. He is a Diplomate of the European College of Veterinary Sports Medicine and Rehabilitation (ECVSMR) and defended his PhD in veterinary sciences at the University of Liege (Belgium), with a focus on advancing the diagnostics and treatment of subclinical lower airway disorders in sport horses. His field of interest in both clinical and research work is the non-orthopedic equine sports medicine, with a focus on the respiratory system, the cardiovascular system, the gastrointestinal system, and exercise physiology. He is President of the Equine Section of KNMvD (Royal Dutch Veterinary Association) and a Board Member of the Dutch Equine Sector Council.
