Dr Alexandra Muresan is an Associate Professor at the University of Agricultural Sciences and Veterinary Medicine in Cluj Napoca. After completing her studies with a DVM diploma in 2009, she also earned a MVSc in Necropsy diagnosis and Clinical Pathology and then a PhD on MPXI activity in peritoneal fluid of horses with SIRS in the same university. She then was accepted for an alternative track residency of the ECEIM in Vetmed Uni Vienna and passed her board exams in 2025. Dr Muresan is passionate about teaching and sharing knowledge, and is active in research and publishing mostly on donkey medicine, with a focus on infectious diseases.
