After studying veterinary medicine in Vienna, Austria (graduation in 1992), work as general practitioner for one year in Styria, then returned to my Alma Mater for a doctor's degree, and started to work at the Clinic for Poultry and Pet Birds in 1993. From 2000 - 2002, Residency Training at CAHFS/UC Davis in California, followed by employment as poultry pathologist/diagnostician in the Turlock laboratory of CAHFS. Since 2006, Diplomate of the American College of Poultry Veterinarians. In 2007, returned to Austria to work as consultant and poultry practitioner.
