A native of Italy, I graduated from the University of Parma in 1996 as a Dottore in Medicina Veterinaria (DVM). After moving to Sweden for an internship-equivalent in Diagnostic Imaging at the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences (Uppsala), I completed a radiology residency and MS degree at the Ohio State University (Columbus, OH), after which I moved to Knoxville (TN), where I have been a faculty member at the University of Tennessee since 2001, and currently hold the title of Professor. I am involved in the imaging of all types of animal (small, large and exotics). I have been board certified by the ECVDI since 2001 and the ACVR since 2002, and have served in numerous Committees for both the ACVR and ECVDI, over the course f my career. I enjoy all aspects of imaging, with particular interest in CT, imaging of portosystemic shunts and nuclear medicine.
