Dr Johnson undertook her diagnostic imaging residency at the Animal Health Trust, Newmarket, UK. She spent a year at UC Davis, California before undertaking a masters in Neuroimaging at Kings College in London. She has worked as an Assistant and Associate Professor at Cornell College of Veterinary Medicine 2015-2024, where her research focusesd on applying of advanced MRI techniques to improve our understanding of neuroanatomy, disease and diagnosis in animals. She is currently director of Animal MRI and is an Adjunct Professor at Cornell College of Veterinary Medicine.
