I am professor at the Universitat Autonoma of Barcelona (Spain) interested in infectious diseases of domestic animals, especially pigs. My main research projects are related to the epidemiology, pathogenesis and diagnosis of endemic and emergent viral infections of swine, such as PRRS, coronavirus, rotavirus, influenza and hepatitis E, among others.
