I did my Vet studies and South African Diagnostic imaging MMedVet degree at The University of Pretoria's Veterinary faculty at Onderstepoort, South Africa. I worked as a senior lecturer in Diagnostic imaging at Onderstepoort from 2002 - 2008. During this time I also did my ECVDI residency concurrently and became a diplomate of ECVDI in 2017. In 2018, I left academia and started my own diagnostic imaging practice in South Africa, which I am still doing ... and enjoying ... to this day. In my personal life: I am happily married to my lovely husband, Gert, who is a human radiologist in private practice. We have 2 lovely daughters, Lyne and Annika. We love the South African wildlife, bushveld and enjoy traveling, both in our own country and abroad.
