Danielle Bass obtained her veterinary degree from the Ludwigs- Maximilian- Universität in Munich, Germany in 2001. After an internship in Small Animal Surgery followed by her doctoral thesis in the same department in the Vetsuisse Faculty Zurich, Switzerland, she spent several years gaining experience in private practices in Switzerland. 2009 she returned to Zurich for the participation and completion of the ECVDI Residency Program. Since 2012 she works full time in a private referral clinic near Zurich.
