After graduating from Royal (Dick) School of Veterinary Studies in 2016, I started an internship in clinical poultry practice at St David's Poultry Team. Having completed my internship, I was accepted as an ECPVS Resident under the supervision of Dr Barry Thorp, and became a EBVS® European Specialist in Poultry Veterinary Science in 2025. During my residency I obtained an MSc in Applied Poultry Science (2016-2020) through Glasgow University. My main clinical and academic work involves commercial layers and gamebirds. I also hold guest lecturer positions at Edinburgh and Glasgow vet schools.
