Dr. Surya Paudel is a veterinarian and is currently a Professor of Poultry Medicine at the University of Veterinary Medicine Vienna. Previoulsly, he worked as as Assisstant Professor and the Interim Director of JCC Research Centre for Applied One Health and Policy Advice at the City University of Hong Kong. He completed postdoctorate and residency at the University of Veterinary Medicine Vienna, Austria. Dr. Paudel is interested in research and teaching works related to all aspects of poultry health, especially in understating host-pathogen interaction, immune response towards infections and prevention of diseases. Besides, his research interest also include food safety and One Health.
