Born 1962, I grew up in the Southern parts of Jutland near the German border. I was a intergrated part of the German minority and visited German private schools and the German high school. Began to study veterinary medicin in 1983 at the Royal Veterinary and Agricultural University in Copenhagen, Denmark. Graduated in 1990 and spend 5 years in mixed praxis with focus on dairy cattle. Ph.d. in SARA from 1999 followed by post doc (research in zeolite as a mean of milk fever prophylaxis), Assistent and asscociate professor at Large Animal Medicine, RVAU, Copenhagen until 2009. Since then worked at Bayer, Elanco and currently Bimeda Nordic. Affiliated Professor of Bovine Medicine at Coprenhagen University, Department of Clinical Veterinary Sciences.
