Al completed his residency at the Royal Veterinary College London in 2018. He currently works at QMMS Ltd, a mastitis laboratory in the south of the UK. He is a trainer for the Mastitis Control Plan - a national programme for vets and consultants, aimed at providing targeted herd-level advice for dairy herds. His main interests are in population medicine (herd health), with a focus on mastitis, lameness and genetics.
