Immediately after graduating from the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Ghent University, I moved to England to work in farm animal practice. Hereafter I did my ECBHM internship and residency at The Royal Veterinary College in Dorset. During my residency my passion for claw health and cow comfort developed. In 2015 I obtained a position at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Utrecht University, in the Netherlands where I completed a Ph.D on digital dermatitis. Currently Royal GD in the Netherlands is my employer where I am involved in contract research and consultancy on foot health in cattle.
