Graduated in 2012 as a veterinarian at Ghent University, Belgium. After graduation, started a medical imaging internship at the same university. This was immediately followed by a residency in medical imaging (small animal track), combined with a PhD project, still at Ghent University. The PhD, on contrast-enhanced ultrasound of feline kidneys, was successfully defended in May 2017. Became EBVS® European Specialist in Veterinary Diagnostic Imaging® (Dip ECVDI) in February 2019. Since then combining a full time position at Ghent University with teleradiology.
