Dr. Maja Waschk first completed a Molecular Biology and Biomedical Science degree at Murdoch University in Perth Western Australia including completing Honors in Nutritional Biochemistry. She then studied Veterinary Medicine at Murdoch University where she graduated at the end of 2010. From 2011-2012 she undertook a rotating internship in equine medicine and surgery at the University of Sydney before spending a short amount of time in equine private practice. In 2013 she started working as a small animal emergency clinician in Perth, Australia until starting a residency in Diagnostic Imaging at the University of Bern in 2015. Since February 2019 she is a diplomate of the European College of Veterinary Diagnostic Imaging (ECVDI) and in September 2019 obtained a Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from Bern University. Since 2019, she splits her time between working as a senior clinician at the Clinic for Diagnostic Imaging, Vetsuisse Faculty, Zurich, Switzerland and teleradiology for VetCT.
