Chiara Mattei graduated with full marks from the Veterinary School of the University of Parma in 2009. After performing two small animal rotating internships in two referral centers in Italy, she spent 4 years working as an internist in private practice. She then moved to the University Animal Hospital of Uppsala (Sweden) to complete a 6-month visiting period in the diagnostic imaging department. She joined the same Department working for 2 years as a clinical radiologist, and she started her residency program in Diagnostic Imaging in 2016, to became board certified in 2020. During her residency program, she performed additional periods of training in other centers (Newmarket-UK; Novara-Italy). She now works part-time as a staff radiologist for the Teleradiology company Antech Imaging Services and in the private referral center “I Portoni Rossi” in Bologna- Italy, where she is supervisor of the clinical activity, responsible of the continuing education and research activity coordinator.
