Dr. Pamela DI DONATO

Pamela Di Donato is a diplomate of the European College of Veterinary Diagnostic Imaging, and she holds a PhD degree. She studied at the Veterinary School of the University of Bologna from 2003 to 2008. She graduated with honors in veterinary medicine in November 2008. In 2009, she won a grant, and she spent a 3-month period at the Department of Diagnostic Imaging of the Tufts University/Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine. In January 2010, she started a 3-year PhD program in Ultrasonography in Human and Veterinary Medicine at the University of Bologna, obtaining the PhD degree in December 2012. Pamela Di Donato worked as
a veterinary clinician in different small animal practices in Italy and the UK (2013-2016). She also completed a 1-year (2014-2015) multidisciplinary internship program in a referral hospital in UK. Dr. Di Donato joined Giessen University (JLU-Germany) in 2016 to complete a 3-year ECVDI residency program. During her ECVDI residency program, she performed additional periods of training at other Universities (Gent, Bern, Zurich). She achieved the title of European Diplomate in February 2020. She worked for 1-year as a veterinary radiologist and resident supervisor at the Department of Diagnostic Imaging of the Royal Veterinary College University (UK). She is working now as a radiologist at the Ospedale Veterinario I Portoni Rossi, AniCura Italy, and as a staff radiologist for Antech Imaging Service.
