Undertook a residency at the University of Cambridge before gaining ECVAA Diploma in 2012. Worked in university hospitals for over a decade, including running a clinical anaesthesia service. Then moved to private practice as a specialist consultant for five years before moving to Germany to work at the small animal clinic of the Ludwig-Maximilian University, Munich. Has published scientific articles, book chapters and co-authored books on patient safety. Interested in patient safety, ethics, sustainability, conservation and education.
