I graduated from Murdoch University in Western Australia in 1995 and after 6 years in mixed and small animal practice in Australia and the UK I undertook a Residency training program at the University of Glasgow. I became a Diplomat of the ECVAA in 2005. In 2011 I was awarded my PhD from the University of Western Australia. My career was then a mix of veterinary academia and veterinary professional work at Murdoch University and the University of Western Australia respectively.
