Ludovic graduated from the École Nationale Vétérinaire d'Alfort (Paris, France) in 2001, where he completed a two-year small animal internal medicine internship. He then completed a 3-year anaesthesia residency at the Royal Veterinary College (RVC), London, UK where he gained his European Diploma of Veterinary Anaesthesia and Anaesthesia in 2006. Ludovic completed his pharmacology PhD at the RVC in 2010 on the roles of cyclooxygenase (COX) isoenzymes in the regulation of inflammation and the renal function in the cat (supervised by Professor Jonathan Elliott and Professor Peter Lees and Dr. Jon King). Ludovic has been back in the clinics as a senior anesthetist since the end of his PhD. He is currently Professor in Veterinary Clinical Pharmacology and Anaesthesia.
