Dr. Michael KENT

Michael Kent is a Professor of Radiation Oncology in the Department of Surgical and Radiological Sciences at the University of California, Davis, School of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Kent graduated from veterinary school at UC Davis in 1997. He then went on to do a rotating small animal internship at the University of Pennsylvania. This was followed by a year in private practice in Pennsylvania before going on to do residencies in Medical and Radiation Oncology at UC Davis, where he also received his Masters Degree in clinical research. In 2013 he became the Director of the Center for Companion Animal Health. He is also the program co-leader for the comparative oncology program at the UC Davis Medical School’s NCI designated Comprehensive Cancer Center. He is an author on over 90 peer reviewed publications.
