Virginie Barberet DVM PhD DipECVDI FHEA MRCVS European and RCVS specialist in Veterinary Diagnostic Imaging Virginie Barberet graduated from the National Veterinary School of Lyon (France) in 1999. She then performed a rotating internship in small animals medicine and surgery at the National Veterinary School of Lyon. Virginie Barberet spent 4 years in small animals private practices before joining Ghent University (Belgium) in 2005 to complete a 4-year residency program in Medical Imaging. She became a Diplomate of the European College of Veterinary Diagnostic Imaging in 2009. She remained at Ghent University as an assistant where she finished her PhD project on ultrasonography of selected small structures of small animals. She then worked as a Teaching Fellow in Diagnostic Imaging at Bristol Veterinary School between 2010 and 2015. In 2015-2016, she has worked for a year as a clinical radiologist at Willows Referral Centre. Since 2016, Virginie has worked for VetCT as radiologist, supporting radiologist and Director of Teleradiology training.
