Pascaline Pey graduated from the Ecole Nationale Vétérinaire in Alfort (ENVA- University of Paris) in 2007. In 2008, she moved to Ghent University in Belgium to complete a PhD and a 4-year residency program in Diagnostic Imaging. She became a diplomate of ECVDI in 2012. She then moved to Canada where she worked as a clinical instructor at the Veterinary University of Montréal. In 2014, she returned to Europe where she became assitant professor and head of the diagnostic imaging service at the University of Paris. Later (2017) she started working as an associate professor at the University of Bologna. Since March 2021 she has been working full-time for the telemedicine company Antech (Irvine, California). She was secretary of the European College of Veterinary Diagnostic Imaging from 2017 to 2020 and a member of the teleradiology committee. She is co-founder of Surgeree, an innovative startup dedicated to medicine and founded on new technologies (augmented and virtual reality) and artificial intelligence.
She has authored and coauthored more than 50 scientific publications in international peer-reviewed journals. She has also actively participated in several national and international conferences, where she has received several awards for best oral presentation.
Today she lives in Bologna with her family.
