Andrew Parry MA VetMB CertVDI DipECVDI FRCVS RCVS and EBVS European Specialist in Veterinary Diagnostic Imaging Andrew graduated from the University of Cambridge in 1999. After several years in mixed and small animal practice he completed the RCVS Certificate in Veterinary Diagnostic Imaging in 2005 and started a residency at the Royal Veterinary College (RVC) in 2007. He successfully completed the European College of Veterinary Diagnostic Imaging (ECVDI) diploma examinations in 2010, becoming a European Recognised Specialist in Veterinary Diagnostic Imaging the same year, and becoming an RCVS Recognised Specialist in 2012. He worked as a clinical radiologist at Willows Referral Service until 2014, and, after a brief period in academia at the RVC, returned to Willows Referral Service as a senior radiologist in 2015. He became Head of the Diagnostic Imaging service in 2017. IN 2022 Andrew became Head of the Central Diagnostic Imaging Services at Linnaeus. In 2023, Andrew moved to Antech Imaging Services (AIS) as a teleradiologist. Amongst a number of RCVS and ECVDI committee positions in his career as a specialist radiologist, Andrew has been an examiner for the ECVDI diploma, in order to help improve and disseminate knowledge and competence in veterinary diagnostic imaging and has been president of the ECVDI. He is also a Fellow of the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons. Andrew’s research interests include computed tomography angiography and in particular, morphology of portosystemic shunts. He has numerous publications in the field of diagnostic imaging in peer-reviewed journals, and is the author of several book chapters within the field.
