Marion graduated from Lyon in France in 2003. She worked in mixed practice for a year before starting a zoological medicine internship at the University of Montreal in Québec. Then she worked in a referral hospital in France with small animal and exotics for a year before starting a residency program in zoo medicine in Montreal, in collaboration with the Granby Zoo and the Quebec Aquarium. Marion did her master in clinical sciences studying pain in a facture model in pigeons. She has been working as a professor in zoological medicine at the Atlantic Veterinary College in Prince Edward Island for 4 years before coming back to Québec. Marion became a diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Behaviorists in 2018. Marion is an associate professor in Clinical Sciences at the Faculté de médecine vétérinaire of the University of Montreal.
