I graduated in Veterinary Medicine in Milan, Italy, and completed my residency in Paris, France. I am a Diplomate of the ECZM in Small Mammal Medicine and Surgery and also hold a University Diploma in Microsurgery from the Faculty of Medicine and Surgery, Sorbonne University, Paris. I have a strong passion for surgery and ophthalmology, fields in which I am both professionally and scientifically engaged. I am also deeply interested in the natural sciences, with a particular focus on zoology, especially the study of amphibians, which I consider a fascinating lens through which to explore biodiversity and evolution.
