Cécile Bernhard graduated from the Alfort National Veterinary School (France) in 2015. She completed a one-year rotating internship in companion animal medicine and surgery, followed by a one-year internship in exotic animal medicine. After three years of clinical practice focused on exotic species, she undertook a three-year ECZM Standard Residency in Small Mammal Medicine in Pontoise, France (2020–2023). As a newly board-certified diplomate, she currently works at the Veterinary Clinic L'Arche des NAC (Pontoise, France), where she provides care for exotic animals with a particular interest in small mammals.
