When I graduated, there were no training programs in Australia to do an avian residency, so I moved to England in 2002 to begin a combined ECZM (then ECAMS) and Australia New Zealand College of Veterinary Scientists residency, culminating in specialist recognition with both organisations. I've been on the Examinations and Scientific Committees, and am currently a member of the Outreach Committees. I believe in life long learning and growth.
