Adrián Melero received his DVM from the Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB) in 2011 and performed a one-year exotic pets specialty internship in 2014 at the same university. Between 2016-2020, he performed his residency program under the mentorship of Dr. Jaume Martorell (UAB) and Dr. Albert Martínez-Silvestre (CRARC- Catalonia Reptile and Amphibian Rehabilitation Center). He obtained his PhD from the UAB in 2020. Finally, he obtained his diploma in 2022 and currently is the clinical director of the veterinary clinic 'Exòtica veterinaris' specialized in exotic animals in Barcelona.
