Maria graduated by the Catholic University of Valencia (Spain) in 2018. During this time, she had the opportunity to work for the imaging department in the university hospital where she developed a strong interest in this area. This interest in diagnostic imaging continue to grow during her visits at different busy first opinion practices and multidisciplinary referral centres. Shortly after graduated, Maria moved to UK to pursue advanced qualification, where she worked in a busy first opinion practice for 2 years. Finally, moving forward her wish to become a specialist, she applied for a rotating internship at Southern Counties Veterinary Specialists which was followed by an imaging internship and a residency. She became a Diplomate of the European College of Veterinary Diagnostic Imaging in January 2026, and she is currently working at Southern Counties Veterinary Specialists. While interested in all aspects of diagnostic imaging, her particular interest include neuroimaging.
