Elisabetta qualified as a veterinary surgeon in 2006 at the University of Padova, Italy. After completing a stud season in Ireland, she undertook an equine internship at Donnington Grove Veterinary Group (UK) from 2008 to 2010, before returning to Ireland to work as a racing veterinarian. In April 2011, Elisabetta re-joined Donnington Grove as an Equine Assistant and completed the Certificate in Advanced Veterinary Practice at the University of Liverpool in 2015. She became an Associate Partner and Head of MRI at Donnington Grove in 2019. In July 2022, Elisabetta joined the Royal Veterinary College, London, to undertake an ECVDI large animal diagnostic imaging residency. Following completion of the residency, she remained at the RVC as a Staff Clinician in Equine Diagnostic Imaging and became a Diplomate of the European College of Veterinary Diagnostic Imaging in January 2026.
