Stefano graduated at the University of Perugia in 2006 and after two years in private practice in Rome he completed a rotating internship at the Animal Health Trust in Newmarket. He became American Specialist in Emergency and Critical Care in 2014 following a residency in ECC at the Royal Veterinary College and later on became European Specialist and RCVS Recognised Specialist in ECC. Stefano is co-director of the Renal Replacement service. Stefano is currently involved in the European Emergency and Critical Care Society as Vice-President
