EBVS® European Veterinary Specialist in Emergency and Critical Care
I graduated in Veterinary Medicine in 2011 from the Complutense University of Madrid and completed a rotating internship in Small Animal Medicine in 2013. I subsequently worked in several veterinary centres as part of emergency and critical care teams.
In 2016, I earned a Postgraduate Diploma in Small Animal Emergency and Intensive Care from the Autonomous University of Barcelona. I obtained AVEPA accreditation in this specialty in 2021 and completed my ECVECC Residency, achieving Diplomate status in 2025.
I am currently Head of the Emergency and Critical Care Service at the Veterinary Teaching Hospital of the European University of Madrid, where I also lecture in Small Animal Emergency Medicine.
