I was born in Valencia (Spain) on 6th June 1958. I obtained my degree in Veterinary Medicine in 1981 from the Veterinary Faculty of the University of Zaragoza and in 1989 my Ph.D. degree from the same University. I was a Professor of Veterinary Pathology at the University of Glasgow in 2007 and currently of Animal Health at the University of Zaragoza since 2009. I teach diagnostic veterinary pathology (gross and histopathology) in pigs, cattle, small ruminants, dogs, cats, and other species. My research area of interest is neoplastic diseases associated with retrovirus in small ruminants
