Svenja Hartung graduated in veterinary medicine at Justus-Liebig-University, Giessen, Germany in 2017. From 2017 to 2023 she worked at the Institute of Veterinary Pathology of JLU Giessen and graduated as a Dipl. ECVP in 2022. In this time she carried out necropsies and histologic examinations of biopsy specimens of various animal species. She reached the degree of a Dr. med. vet. in reasearch at the in-vitro chemosensitivity of a feline Large-Granular-Lymphocyte cell line. Since 2023, she is working in the field of toxicologic pathology at Labcorp, Muenster and is involved in the histological evaluation of toxicologic studies on a wide range of different test substances, performs the diagnostics of NHPs in the context of animal health and animal welfare and participates in collaboration with customers, study directors and veterinarians on site.
