I am a veterinary professional with over 15 years of experience in small animal medicine, specialising in Veterinary diagnostic imaging. I graduated from the University of Glasgow Veterinary School in 2008 and have since worked in diverse environments across the UK and internationally.
2008 - 2011: Began my career in small animal practice in Scotland, honing my clinical skills over three years.
2011 - 2015: Worked in Australia, where I developed a passion for Diagnostic Imaging and further refined my diagnostic capabilities.
2015 - 2016: Completed a one-year rotating internship in small animal medicine and surgery at the University of Glasgow, followed by six months working in the Out of Hours (OOH) service, gaining experience in emergency care.
2017 - 2021: Undertook a four-year ECVDI Residency at the University of Glasgow Veterinary School, specializing in diagnostic imaging and advancing my skills in CT and MRI.
2021 - 2024: Joined North Downs Specialist Referrals in South East England, where I balanced my passion for advanced imaging with the dynamic lifestyle of the region. I have contributed to high-level imaging cases and developed my interest in interventional radiology.
2024 – Present: Transitioned to a freelance position, focusing on educational services, continued professional development, and teleradiology.
Specializations & Interests:
Diagnostic Imaging: Expert in all imaging modalities, including a good Breadth of experience relating to cross-sectional imaging, including CT and MRI.
Interventional Radiology: Aspiring to expand my involvement in this rapidly evolving field.
Education: Passionate about advancing veterinary knowledge through teaching and professional development.
I aim to continue growing my expertise in veterinary imaging and contribute to the education and development of the next generation of veterinary professionals.
