I am a veterinary surgeon with over 15 years of experience in small animal medicine, with a specialist focus on diagnostic imaging. Since graduating from the University of Glasgow School of Veterinary Medicine in 2008, I have worked in a variety of clinical settings across the UK and Australia, gaining extensive experience in both first-opinion and referral practice. My professional path has included time in general small animal practice, emergency and out-of-hours care, a rotating internship in small animal medicine and surgery, and a four-year ECVDI Residency in Diagnostic Imaging at the University of Glasgow Veterinary School. This has allowed me to develop a broad and well-rounded background in veterinary imaging, including radiography, ultrasonography, CT, and MRI. Most recently, I worked in specialist referral practice in South East England, where I contributed to a high-level imaging caseload and further developed my interest in advanced cross-sectional imaging and interventional radiology. I now work in a freelance capacity, focusing on teleradiology, veterinary education, and continuing professional development. I am particularly passionate about teaching and supporting veterinary professionals in developing confidence in imaging interpretation, structured reporting, and clinical reasoning. My ongoing aim is to continue advancing my expertise in veterinary imaging while contributing meaningfully to the education and development of the wider veterinary profession.
