Veterinary pathologist with more than 10 years experience in the field of laboratory animal pathology mostly in academia. Graduated as DVM from University of Camerino in Italy in 2002, earned my PhD in 2008 and became a Diplomate of the ECVP by exam in 2013. Completed my residency training at the Institute of Animal Pathology of the University of Bern. Served as lecturer in Pathology jointly for the Institute of Animal Pathology of the University of Bern and EPFL in Switzerland from 2012 till 2016. Assistant professor in medicine and pathology at Weill Cornell Medicine in NYC from 2016 till 2020. Currently working as Associate Director/Pathologist and Head of Investigative Pathology Lab at Takeda in Cambridge, Massachusetts (USA).
