Doctor of veterinary medicine since 2021. Diplomate ECVP (EBVS® European Specialist in Veterinary Pathology) since 2026. Main passion and interests are mainly in zoo animals, exotic species including invertebrates, and (marine) wildlife. This resulted in the start of a PhD on pathology of Dutch wild-living harbour seals.
