She graduated in Veterinary Medicine from the University of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria (Spain) in 2019. During her studies, she collaborated with the Institute of Animal Health and Food Safety (IUSA), where she gained experience in a range of research methodologies and techniques applied to the field of Veterinary Pathology, particularly in cetaceans. Since then, she has focused her career on pathology and has completed research stays at the University of Liverpool and the University of California, Davis. She completed a combined Veterinary Pathology residency and PhD training program at the University of Zaragoza over a five-year period, where her research focused on the comparative study of different vaccine adjuvants, their associated reactions, and post-vaccinal granuloma formation in sheep, as well as other vaccine-related reactions in livestock. She is currently an ECVP diplomate and is in the final stage of her PhD in Animal Health at the University of Zaragoza, with her doctoral thesis under evaluation and pending defense.
