December 1995 to December 2001- Researcher in Parasitology and Parasitic Diseases at Pisa University. 1996-PhD in "Diseases of Small Ruminants" with a PhD Thesis entitled “Pharmacological Activity of Natural Compounds against Ectoparasites” (University of Pisa and Milan, Italy). 2001- Associate Professor of Parasitology and Parasitic Diseases at Pisa University (Italy). 2003 to date-De facto member of the European Veterinary Parasitology College (EVPC/EVBS).
