I am a South African born and educated veterinarian who presently lives in Israel. I am a specialist in veterinary public health, tropical diseases and parasitology having completed master, PhD and post doc degrees both at the University of Pretoria and Hebrew university of Jerusalem, Israel. My PhD and post doc theses were the development of coproPCR for Toxoplasma gondii detection in cats and LAMP for E. granulosus , respectively. My current research covers mainly vector borne zoonotic diseases in Israel.
