Ilias Kyriazakis is the Professor of Animal and Veterinary Science at the Institute for Global Food Security at Queen's University Belfast. His research interests focus upon the management factors that influence the ability of animals to deal with pathogens and affect the environmental impact of their production systems. He works across species and has worked with animals ranging from mice to cows, although more recently his work has focused on pigs and poultry.
